Waste packaging is the most important raw material for paperboard. Due to the high percentage of waste paperfibre (77%), corrugated board industry is one of the biggest consumers of waste paper in Austria.
More informationFresh fibres
The necessary virgin fibre percentage (approx. 23%) for our domestic paperboards is gained from waste wood and wood obtained from controlled forestry, thus keeping up the forested areas. For the "cirulation packaging" corrugated board no tree has to die.
